Homa Bay Advances a Major Surgical and Emergency Healthcare Expansion

On 5 November, Homa Bay County announced progress on a new surgical block at Homa Bay Teaching and Referral Hospital, developed through collaboration with the National Government and Kenya Defence Forces. The facility is expected to add 140 beds and include operating theatres, ICU, HDU and maternity services. The project value was not disclosed in the announcement. This creates opportunities for medical-equipment suppliers, healthcare consultants and specialist service providers.
